Corey Kim — Registered Physiotherapist, London Ontario
Hey, I'm Corey — a registered physiotherapist at Break Free Physiotherapy and Wellness in London, Ontario.
I grew up right here in London and completed both my Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and my Master of Physical Therapy at Western University. After graduating I had the opportunity to travel to Nepal as a physiotherapy consultant, teaching at Kathmandu University's Bachelor of Physiotherapy program — an experience that shaped how I think about education, movement, and why people hurt.
I'm passionate about helping people understand their pain — not just treat it. My approach looks at the full picture: the physical, the social, and the psychological factors that affect how your body heals. I know that after an injury, it's easy to feel anxious or afraid to move. My job is to help you understand what's actually going on and give you strategies that work for your life.

My Clinical Approach
I use the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) — a systematic, evidence-based approach to assessing and treating spinal and musculoskeletal pain using repeated movement testing and classification. It's one of the most researched physiotherapy methods available for back and neck pain, and it's particularly effective for disc-related conditions.
I believe recovery isn't just about finding the right exercise or technique. It's about understanding the problem, building confidence, and progressively returning to the things that matter to you. I want to give you the tools to heal — and the knowledge to prevent it from coming back.
